Why we don't start from a template

A template gets you a homepage by lunch. The bill arrives later — when the layout can't hold an idea it was never drawn for, and every change fights the grid someone else chose.

We start from the content and the constraints: what has to be said, who has to maintain it, where it has to be fast. The interface follows from that, not from a marketplace preview.

It costs more on day one. It costs far less across the quarters that follow, which is where the real money is.
